Online roundtable

After-school activities without the 3 pm bus chaos.

At 15:00 every bus is ready to leave, and some children are heading to clubs that finish at 16:00 or 17:00 instead. Without one system, the bus waits for a child who is at football, or leaves without one who isn't. Join school leaders, activity coordinators and transport teams to compare how you keep it all in step.

What we'll discuss

Where the activities day and the bus day collide.

Activities and transport are often run by different people working from different lists. These are the moments where that shows.

01

The bus that waits

A child is booked into a club that clashes with the bus. How does the driver know before the run starts?

02

The late bus list

Who builds it, when, and what happens when a club runs late?

03

Who actually turned up?

Taking the register at the club, and how quickly the office knows a child is missing.

04

Where does each child go next?

Late bus, childcare, another club or a parent, at the end of every session.

How Together School handles it

The bus leaves on time. Every child is accounted for.

Together School is the only provider with a fully integrated After School Activities module, so activities, registers and buses work from the same list.

01

Absent before the run starts

Children booked into a clashing club already show as absent when the driver starts the run. If one turns up, the driver boards them with one tap.

02

On the late bus list

The same children are on the late bus list automatically.

03

Registers on the phone

The coordinator takes the register on their phone, and the office sees it live. A missing child is flagged at once.

04

Every child's next step

When the session ends, the app shows each child's next step: late bus, childcare, another club or a parent.

Who should join

How it runs

A small working group, not a webinar.

Share challenges. Learn from peers. Take home solutions that work.
