Diversions & Safe Zones
When the school can't be reached, every bus knows where to go.
Divert buses in transit to a Safe Zone within minutes. Each driver gets a full-screen alert that cannot be dismissed, and your team can see who has seen it, who is on the way and who has arrived.

Every bus is out. The school can't be reached.
Flooding, a fire, a security lockdown or a police cordon closes the way in. Drivers are on the road with children on board, and calling each one in turn takes time you do not have.
With Diversions & Safe Zones you send each affected bus to a safe place in one step, then watch every one arrive.
How it works
Four steps, from incident to all-clear.
Diversions & Safe Zones was built with schools operating under emergency conditions in the Gulf, where buses in transit had to be redirected within minutes. The same mechanism covers any incident that makes the school unreachable: flooding, fire, a security lockdown, a police cordon or a protest.
01
Declare the incident
From the route's page, send to its driver with Diversion as the reply type, and write what the driver needs to know.
02
Choose the Safe Zones
Search for a place or drop a pin. Suggest the nearest, the fastest in live traffic, or let each driver choose.
03
Drivers acknowledge
A full-screen alert that cannot be dismissed. The route's banner shows whether the driver has seen it, is on the way, or has arrived.
04
Stand down
Cancel the diversion to send the all-clear. It ends when the driver confirms they are back on the route.

On the day
If a driver hasn't seen the alert, you know at once.
Every diverted route shows where its driver is up to. If the alert has not been acknowledged, the route's banner turns red and tells your team to phone the driver.

01
Several Safe Zones
One diversion can carry several Safe Zones, so each bus can go to the one that suits it.
02
Parents, if you choose
Parents are told nothing unless the school chooses to include them.
03
A Diversions tab
It follows every bus that is diverted, and several can be stood down at once.
04
